Teen Talk Lock-In 2008

The 2008 Teen Talk Lock-In was an overnight event of fun and exciting activities for teens which explored many of the challenges they face in the search for healthy relationships. More than 150 youth and parents participated.
Teen Talk is an educational forum designed to provide teens with information. Our goal is to improve communication between parents and teens around the many issues in their day-to-day lives, including self-esteem, decision making and sexual health. Who can participate: Wake County Teens ages 14-19, and their parents or guardians

Sponsored by Wake County 4-H Youth Development, in collaboration with other community-based organizations, including Wake County Human Services HIV/STD, Strengthening the Black Family, Inc. – Teens Against AIDS, Alliance of AIDS Services Carolina, Phi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (Raleigh), Central Carolina Graduate Chapter of Swing Phi Swing, Inc., and NC State University.
