Police called to octuplets' mom's house

LOS ANGELES, March 4 (UPI) -- Police and family service workers have been called to the California home of octuplets mom Nadya Suleman several times in the past 14 months, officials say.
Some of the calls were made to respond to neglect complaints concerning Suleman's six older children, KTLA-TV, Los Angeles, reports.
Whittier police officer Jason Zuhlke says officers responded once to investigate a neighbor's claim that Suleman was neglecting her children. Zuhlke said the Department of Children and Family Services concluded that the allegations were without basis.
Another time, police responded to a 911 call that one of the children was accidentally locked in a bathroom.
Last October, Suleman called police because she couldn't find her 5-year-old.
It turned out the child had followed Suleman's mother out of the house.
KTLA says the day the octuplets were born, one of Suleman's children inadvertently called 911 from the home.
